In this series I've been exploring the relationship between stability and instability; what makes us feel grounded, what throws us off balance -and about the ultimate impermanence of structures, both natural and man-made. The human urge to construct is incredibly strong. We're hard-wired to create, build, and make new systems, new monuments and edifaces, ever more expansive and complex. I'm interested in the structure, arrangement, and interrationship of parts to a whole, as well as the temporary and fleeting nature of things.
